Or, miscellaneous content, rather.

For a few years, my mom had me paint her boyfriend's windows every holiday season. Being the devout Christian that I am, I was appalled regarding the use of paint in observance of Christ's birthday... Wait, no disregard that last part. Some kind of weird... I dunno.

Anyways. I agreed and he was fond of the evil penguin from Wallace and Grommit, so they made appearances over the years, as did other harmless cartoon characters. One year, he gave me total artistic freedom, and told me to do whatever I wanted. Restraining the urge to paint demons breathing balefire onto huddled and fearful medieval armies, I went with an image from one of my favorite comics, Calvin and Hobbes.

The image captures the spirit of C&H, and is pretty funny, too. He said he really liked it, but I could tell otherwise and it was the last year I painted a holiday window.
